Equipment list
You need a backpack for day trips in the forest and fields. An ideal backpack for day trips is about 25-40 liters. You also need something to pack for overnight trips. Then you need a waterproof bag 80 liters. If you have a larger backpack for trips - feel free to bring it.
Backpack
You will need a sleeping bag for our cabin trips. We will not be sleeping outside when it is cold, so it does not need to be a sleeping bag intended for winter use. You will also need a sitting pad or a light sleeping pad.
Sleeping bag and sleeping mat
Although teachers in all classes always carry first aid equipment, we recommend that all students have a small first aid kit with the essentials such as plasters/bandages, and chafing plasters. This way, you will learn to become more self-reliant.
First aid and safety
There will be the opportunity to join some mountain hikes for those who can / want to. Then it's nice to have a pair of mountain shoes. Ideally, you should have tried them on a few hikes before school starts.
It's also nice to have indoor shoes for gym use and sneakers for outdoor use.
Shoes
You need a warm jacket/pants and a rain jacket/rain pants to be outside.
We also recommend breathable hiking pants for use on autumn hikes. You will need a hat, a scarf and good warm gloves.
You must bring wool underwear and wool socks.
You will need a headlamp, thermos, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Clothing
You'll need a headlamp, thermos, knife, sunglasses and sunscreen.
