Students and teacher skiing in the mountains

Adrenaline-filled experiences

The feeling of floating on untouched powder, or the sense of accomplishment you get when you catch your first wave, is unforgettable. At Powder Surf - Japan, we hunt for adrenaline-filled experiences and practice skills that make us good at this throughout the year. This is the line for those who want to challenge themselves and have an action-packed school year with a focus on surfing, skiing and varied outdoor activities.

Pudder Surf - Japan is the line for those who want to challenge themselves and have an action-packed year with a focus on surfing, steep skiing and a focus on fast-paced activities in a good community. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, you'll find challenges that suit you.

Full throttle

From the first snowfall, we are mostly in the mountains or on the slopes, where we hunt for the best snow. Before the snow settles, we will be both high and low. In the fall, we'll spend a lot of time on the surfboard, but we'll also be involved in other activities. This means that you get to try action-packed activities such as trail biking, ice climbing, outdoor climbing, ice hockey etc. Throughout the year, we will also take steep climbing licenses and wet sea kayaking licenses.

Study trip to Japan

In February, one of the many highlights of the year will be a study trip to Japan. Have you heard of Japow? The powder snow in Japan is said to be so good that it has its own expression. In February, we travel to Hakuba and the Cortina ski resort, a ski destination with as much as 10-12 meters of snowfall per year - we're talking bottomless powder. Here we will hunt for the best snow the world has to offer.

Three times during the year, arrangements are made for us to pack our bags for a long trip.

September
We're heading to the western tip of Norway - specifically Stad and Hoddevika - to learn how to surf. Stad is known to be one of the best places for surfing in Norway. Here we get thorough training from experienced instructors, so you learn to catch the waves.

February - Study trip to Japan
Have you heard of Japow? The powder snow in Japan is said to be so good that it has its own expression. In February, we travel to Hakuba and the Cortina ski resort, a ski destination with as much as 10-12 meters of snowfall per year - we're talking bottomless powder here. In Hakuba, we experience freeriding you won't soon forget, and we also visit Tokyo where we get a taste of Japanese city life. Experiences like this create close bonds in the class, and we return home with many richer memories and experiences.

April
We travel for another week to Hoddevik in Stadlandet to surf. Now with a little more skills in the bag. After surfing throughout the year, it's fun to come back here to try out the water again. This time it's not a beginner's course, but a lot of time for free surfing with guidance to be able to take new steps!
