Nordvestlandet Folk High School has four dormitories. They surround our yard with a natural stone amphitheater and lawn. It's only a short walk from the student rooms to the dining room, classroom, gymnasium and other activity areas. All dormatories have a living room and a kitchen where students can hang out and cook for themselves. The rooms are divided into separate boys' and girls' rooms in all dormitories.
The boarding houses have standard and high standard rooms.
Normal standard means that the rooms have a sink in the room and a bathroom in the hallway that is shared with others. High standard means that the rooms have their own entrance and their own bathroom with toilet.
The boarding houses are called: Øvretun, Gamlebygget, Murbygget (all with regular standard) and Blekkhuset (high standard).

Double room standard where the rooms have a sink in the room and bathroom in the hallway that is shared with others.
High standard
Double room
High standard double rooms have a bathroom in the room that is shared by the occupants. The bathroom is located in the middle of the room and you each have your own alcove with bed, closet space and desk. Shared living room and a kitchen.
Single room
You can ask for a single room if you wish. Single rooms have a shared bathroom in the dormitory.
Living room
This is a large common lounge and a good meeting point for the students. The common lounge will normally be open 24/7. Quiet time in at the dorms are normaly 23.00. Here there is a stage with a band rig where you can practice with others, play board games ond cards or just hang out. The Sunday meeting "Kvilepuls" is organized here every Sunday evening. Then we sing together, there is devotion, opportunities to write prayer notes and light candles. A nice meeting point in a traditional and nice living room.
